**Job Role:** Retail Sales Assistant

Job Overview:

As a skilled retail professional, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless operations in our fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service, meeting the needs of our valued members with empathy and efficiency.
  • Maintain consistency and quality standards by following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations, adhering to sanitation, temperature, and pull date requirements.
  • Uphold safety and security procedures to safeguard team members and customers alike.
  • Packaging, wrapping, sealing, weighing, and labeling products with precision and accuracy.
  • Stock and rotate display cases, maintaining visual appeal and promoting sales.
  • Prepare salads, entrees, and garnishes using fresh vegetables, meeting presentation and taste expectations.
  • Assemble party trays, meals, pizzas, and salads with attention to detail and speed.
  • Create sushi masterpieces, balancing flavors and textures while meeting quality standards.
  • Cook chickens in a commercial rotisserie oven, achieving optimal results and food safety.
  • Restock and handle large boxes of ingredients and supplies in the prep area, prioritizing efficiency and organization.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of equipment, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
  • Wash and sanitize parts in a 3-compartment sink, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Record product salvage, damage, or destruction for managerial review and audit.
  • Conduct final cleanups, completing sanitation checklists and ensuring a pristine work environment.
  • Support other areas within the department or other departments as needed, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork.
  • Must be over 18 years old to apply.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience with Point of Sale (POS) software is preferred.
  • Working towards sales targets and KPIs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • A valid Work Authorisation in Australia is preferred.
