Job Description

The role of an Account Executive in South Australia's education sector is to drive growth and revenue by developing strategic business relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities include maintaining existing client relationships, identifying sales opportunities for products and services, and engaging with channel communities to enhance coverage.

Performance metrics will be measured through new customer acquisition, development of existing customers, strategic customer wins, profit retention and growth, and revenue.

This role requires high-level interaction with various teams and functions, including the Victorian Tasmanian Partner and AE teams.

  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and grow business relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Identify and close sales opportunities for Lenovo products and services.
  • Develop account relationships across all hierarchy levels, including senior engagements.
  • Engage with channel communities to enhance relationships and improve coverage.
  • Respond to Requests for Tenders (RFTs) and product transition plans, and participate in resource planning.
  • Develop strategies for profit proposals and communicate Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success factors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience.
  • A proven track record in IT sales.
  • Experience selling into large Commercial and Public Sector organisations.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements.
  • Strong relationships with customers and partners across all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial approach, imaginative, smart, passionate, approachable.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for success.
  • Ability to work under aggressive targets and deadlines.
