Role Overview

  • Triage and Intake Specialist
  • Conduct high-standard mental health assessments, including case formulations, risk assessments, and the development of recovery care plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as individual and group programs.
  • Collaborate with consumers, their families/significant others, and relevant service systems to address assessed mental health needs.
  • Engage in ongoing liaison and linkage with internal and external service systems regarding mental health needs.
  • Participate in service enhancement activities and initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • Provisional/General registration as a Psychologist or full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse.
  • Knowledge and experience in clinical mental health assessment and evidence-based interventions.
  • Computer skills and ability to maintain clinical records.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to personal clinical growth.
  • Interpersonal skills and understanding of public, non-government, and private mental health systems.
  • Ability to work creatively and collaboratively within a team.
