About Ventia

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team in a full-time permanent role, which can be based anywhere across Australia.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be an experienced individual who will support the Commercial and Stakeholder Manager by administering the commercial items on the contract. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing relationships with stakeholders to yield satisfactory contract administration and performance outcomes.
  • Carrying out investigations and development of reply to client requests, including formal communications, tenant complaints and escalations, ministerial complaints, and non-compliance notices.
  • Working collaboratively with operational teams to support the timely completion of contract reporting (monthly/quarterly/6-monthly), including responding to Principal's Feedback, and the development of presentations for performance meetings.
  • Coordination of third-party claims and subpoena investigations.
  • Supporting the Project Director with contract communications.
  • Ad hoc requests from the Commercial and Stakeholder Manager.

About You

  • Demonstrated relevant experience with a strong understanding of contract administration and ability to read contracts.
  • Holding a qualification in the legal sector, such as a Diploma or Bachelor's degree, or demonstrated working experience in the legal profession.
  • Experience managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
