Paving Professional

The City of Rockingham is a local government located in the south metropolitan area. We are responsible for the provision and delivery of high-quality services, facilities, and events that meet or exceed community expectations.

Job Description:

The Paving Professional will work as part of the Civil Maintenance team, responsible for paving and maintenance of roads and car parks. This role will mainly undertake works relating to concreting and brick paving works, involving operating trucks and other heavy mobile plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reinstating all aspects of brick paving
  • Operating trucks and other heavy mobile plant
Requirements:
  • Current and valid 'MR class driver's licence
  • Experience in reinstating all aspects of brick paving
  • Construction Induction Training (White Card)
  • Provide First Aid Certificate
  • Experience in operating plant on civil construction sites
Benefits:

This position offers a variety of benefits including a gross wage of $1,466 per week, which incorporates all allowances including the adverse conditions allowance and penalty rates. Additionally, you will receive 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%, a variety of health and wellbeing programs, flexible working arrangements, and a culture of learning with training/development opportunities.
