Delivery Driver Job

This role involves driving a truck and making deliveries to customers. It is a challenging but rewarding position that requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning, picking, and cross-checking orders;
  • Operating a truck in a safe manner to undertake multi-drop deliveries;
  • Hand unloading food products (including chilled and frozen products) to customers, this may include handling cash;
  • Providing exceptional customer service – our customers are the centre of all that we do;

Key competencies, skills, and qualifications include:

  • MR truck licence (or higher);
  • Forklift license (with high reach experience preferable);
  • Must have cold storage experience;
  • Physically able to load/un-load containers and delivery vehicles;
  • Possess a high level of accuracy with attention to detail;

As part of the role, you will be required to attend customer sites who deal with vulnerable groups, therefore as part of the recruitment process you will be required to undertake a National Police History Check, Working With Children Check, medical assessment (including a drug/alcohol test and a Flu Vaccination), Licence Validation/Demerit Point Check and Right to Work Check.
