Key Business Partner Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced professional to join our team. As a Key Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in partnering with operational leaders to drive strategic objectives and deliver exceptional results.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with operational leaders to develop and implement business strategies that align with company goals.
  • Providing expert guidance and support on people-related matters, including employee relations, investigations, and performance processes.
  • Championing systems and data integrity, utilizing Workday as a primary tool.
  • Promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture that reflects company values.

In addition, you will be involved in key people projects and initiatives nationally, driving business growth and success.

We are seeking an ideal candidate with:

  • At least 3+ years' experience in a generalist HR role in a similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of Employee Relations/Industrial Relations, preferably with experience in shift-based or award-covered businesses.
  • Local Victorian experience is essential to understand the complexities of a heavily unionized environment.
  • Experience using Workday is highly advantageous, or another Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • A background from a similar industry, such as manufacturing, retail, healthcare, logistics, facilities management, or other blue-collar environments.
  • Proven tenure in roles, progression, and delivery of people projects in previous companies.
  • Confident communication skills with a practical, down-to-earth style.
  • Resilience and ability to have tough conversations with respect and care.
  • A qualification in HR or a related discipline is required.
