Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead our electrical engineering team in delivering complex EPC and EPCM projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing interdisciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, modification, and evaluation of electrical components and processes. They will also provide technical input to meet procurement requirements, review and make recommendations on bid evaluations and awards, and design, develop, modify, and evaluate electrical systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct independent electrical work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of electrical engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
  • Lead a small to medium sized team of engineers and designers.
  • Provide technical input to meet procurement requirements.
  • Review and make recommendations on bid evaluations and awards.
  • Design, develop, modify and evaluate electrical systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
  • Current RPEQ registration.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in FEED, proposal & detailed engineering preferably in an EPC/EPCM industry.
  • Knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods, materials, and computer applications within the Electrical engineering discipline.
  • Experience in design, procurement, construction, commissioning or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities or process plants.
