With a strong reputation across energy, mining, and heavy industry, we're growing our engineering team and looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead complex brownfield upgrades for an iconic Tier 1 client.Based in Brisbane, this role will suit someone with strong technical capability, project leadership experience, and a willingness to travel to site when required.Responsibilities And AccountabilitiesLeading end-to-end electrical project delivery, from design through to commissioning.
Managing a team of Electrical Project Engineers and mentoring junior team members.
Developing and reviewing engineering documentation to meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards.
Supporting procurement, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and quality assurance activities.
Working cross-functionally with internal teams, clients, and vendors to drive successful outcomes.
Participating in risk reviews, design workshops, and Safety in Design processes.
The Ideal Candidate Will PossessA degree in Electrical Engineering (CPEng eligibility ideal).
5+ years of experience in brownfield infrastructure projects, ideally in energy, generation, or heavy industry.
Experience leading or guiding engineering teams.
A confident communicator and collaborator who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments.
Strong working knowledge of Australian Standards and engineering governance.
