About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team on a maternity leave cover contract with the long-term goal of transition to a permanent position. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of new staff, overseeing the day-to-day operation of the studio, creating financial reports and invoices for projects, and managing the QA standards of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all Human Resources initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Coordinate hiring for Sydney and Melbourne studios, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • Update billing forecasts and manage client invoicing, ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Facilitate weekly company meetings, promoting open communication and collaboration
  • Manage quality assurance documents and certifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Assist the Administration Assistant with day-to-day running of the studio, as needed
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in an Administration, Operations, or Human Resources role
  • Previous experience working with an Architectural studio is preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
