Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in delivering complex civil projects across Adelaide.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
  • Participate in monthly financial reviews and provide cost forecasts against budgets to understand cost to complete.
  • Lead and support a strong safety culture.
  • Manage the construction program and implement mitigating measures to keep the program on track.
  • Demonstrate financial awareness and industry understanding when contributing to project decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
  • Engineering experience on a broad range of civil projects such as road, earthworks, drainage, land division, and infrastructure.
  • Sound understanding of the local construction industry and familiarity with contractors, councils, and clients.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience.
  • Current South Australian Driver's License.
