The role of a Senior Civil Engineer at a leading water infrastructure provider is pivotal within the engineering team, delivering high-quality civil investigations and condition assessments for water and wastewater assets across the state.

About the Position:
  • Provide technical expertise across all general civil and pipeline engineering matters.
  • Support Sustainability in Design (SuiD) and Safety in Design (SiD) initiatives ensuring seamless integration into engineering activities.
  • Collaborate with Principal Engineers to develop and enhance technical capabilities within the team.
  • Evaluate and recommend new and emerging technologies where business benefits are identified.
About the Individual:
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Demonstrate experience in civil engineering within the water or wastewater sector, particularly in pipeline and infrastructure condition assessment and rehabilitation.
  • Exhibit capability in executing novel, complex, and critical engineering investigations and designs in the civil engineering discipline.

This position requires a Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia or in the process of obtaining chartership. A valid driver's license is also necessary.
