Senior Physiotherapist Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a large and dynamic physiotherapy department, currently undergoing major redevelopment.


The senior Women's, Men's and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist is responsible for providing a high-quality physiotherapy service to both inpatients and outpatients. This includes service evaluation and development, as well as the use of advanced reasoning and practice skills in managing women's and men's health patients with complex needs.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Managing a complex caseload including antenatal and postnatal conditions, musculoskeletal conditions related to pregnancy, incontinence, gynaecological conditions, acute postnatal management, and acute post-gynaecological surgery.
  • Supervising, teaching, and training new graduate and rotational Level 1/2 Physiotherapists.
  • Contributing to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols, and participating in quality improvement activities.

Key Requirements:


  • Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Relevant clinical experience, including demonstrated advanced practice skills and management of a complex physiotherapy caseload.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervision and teaching of staff and/or students.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality improvement, research, and service development activities.
