Job Opportunity: Skilled Tradesperson

We are seeking an experienced tradesperson to join our team in a variety of projects.

  • Fabricating and welding heavy industrial components and structures to high quality standards.
  • Using multiple welding processes: GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and SMAW.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Inspecting and testing welds to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Assisting with the operation and maintenance of workshop equipment and tools.
Requirements
  • Qualified welders with a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience as a First Class Welder on heavy fabrication projects.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience required.
  • Proficient in a range of welding processes, including GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and SMAW.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • High-level safety focus, ensuring personal, team, and workplace safety at all times.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant welding codes and standards.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demand.
