We are looking for a seasoned professional with exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills to join our team at IIQAF as a Content Manager, Storyteller and Quality Editor.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the narrative of our publications by crafting engaging content that captivates our audience. As a Content Manager, Storyteller and Quality Editor, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, reviewing and editing content to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality, accuracy and engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the publication cycle, managing content areas to deliver exceptional results
  • Establish publication standards, set goals and expectations, and drive content strategy
  • Suggest compelling story ideas and generate headlines that resonate with our target audience
  • Oversee layout, artwork, design, and photography to ensure visual appeal and accuracy
  • Proofread, edit and improve stories or pieces to elevate their impact
  • Recruit and manage writers and reporters to maintain a high level of quality and consistency
  • Liaise with designers, photographers, advertising reps, writers, artists, and other stakeholders to bring projects to life
  • Ensure compliance with media law and ethical guidelines
  • Meet deadlines and budget requirements while delivering high-quality content
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a content manager, editor or writer with a strong portfolio
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and critical thinking
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office, InDesign, Photoshop, or other publishing tools
  • Familiarity with SEO and social media best practices to amplify our content's reach
  • Exceptional written skills in English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
  • A proven track record of prioritizing tasks, multitasking, and meeting deadlines
  • A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
