Senior Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading Microsoft Partner, delivering cutting-edge business solutions using the renowned Dynamics 365 platform.

  • You will be responsible for implementing and configuring Dynamics 365 applications tailored to client needs, leveraging your expertise to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions to understand business processes, objectives, and challenges.
  • Translate requirements into clear functional design documents for configuration and customization.
  • Configure Dynamics 365 CE — entities, forms, workflows, business rules, and security roles.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on customizations and system integrations.
  • Deliver end-user training and ongoing support to ensure successful system adoption.
  • Participate in system testing by creating and executing test cases.
  • Assist with data migration — mapping, cleansing, and import/export activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation and post-launch support.
  • Stay current on the latest Dynamics 365 CE features, offering strategic recommendations.
  • Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, quality delivery.

Pre-Sales Support:

  • Support pre-sales activities, coaching and mentoring junior team members.
  • Validate solutions, costings, and project plans (without direct delivery responsibilities).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing and delivering Dynamics 365 customer engagements, ideally within consulting/professional services.
  • Deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 and hands-on implementation expertise.
  • Excellent leadership skills—able to inspire and guide diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client and internal relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making skills, and a strategic mindset.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Relevant Dynamics 365 certifications highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
