Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Operations Assistant to join our team at Boral. This role involves supporting and delivering transactional processes and frontline effectiveness for the Payroll Services function.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Actioning and implementing employee Masterfile personal and position maintenance into the Payroll system in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
  • Providing a high level of service to all customers, including answering queries, monitoring and actioning email inbox queries, resolving or escalating issues.
  • Accurately and efficiently processing CHRIS21 masterfile changes and maintenance, as well as all payroll accounting/reporting functions in compliance with all company policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
  • Accurately and efficiently performing all administrative tasks relating to LSL Boards, redundancy funds, income protection funds, deductions, superannuation, ABS reporting, ATO STP reporting and leave escalations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all Payroll documents archived, and to facilitate the archiving and retrieval of documents as required.

About You

  • You will have accounts or administration experience, although this is not essential.
  • You must possess strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • You should be competent in all Microsoft applications.
  • You will have a strong customer service and administrative background.
  • Any experience with diverse business lines, complex payment arrangements and high volume, fast paced, large scale processing environments will be highly regarded.

  • The salary package for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.
