The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our Strategy Finance Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial decision-making, developing financial models, and analyzing business performance to drive strategic initiatives.

This is an exciting role that gives you the unique opportunity to be part of multiple projects that are topical to the business, all helping drive the future strategy. It gives great exposure to various senior stakeholders and focuses on value creation. It also provides a great platform to influence throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic financial plans.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and financial projections.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on financial matters.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial and business processes and improve efficiency.
  • Manage projects with support from a Senior Business Analyst, ensuring timely delivery of agreed deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • CA / CPA Qualification.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate finance, transformation or consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated project management skills within an agile environment with the ability to lead parts of and manage projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, and business analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and communicate effectively to the Senior Business Analyst or Finance Manager on arising issues and delays to deliverables.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn.
  • Strong presentation and storyboarding skills.
