We are seeking a talented lawyer to join our team in Melbourne. Our Workplace Relations and Employment group handles a wide range of matters, including high-stakes litigation, strategic advisory work, and compliance projects for major clients across various industries.

  • This role will involve drafting, reviewing, and advising on employment contracts, policies, and procedures;
  • Advising on complex industrial relations and enterprise bargaining negotiations;
  • Providing strategic advice on workplace issues such as performance management, grievances, and terminations;
  • Interpreting legislation including the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and associated regulations;
  • Running and supporting litigation matters involving unfair dismissal, general protections, and contractual disputes; and
  • Mentoring and supporting junior lawyers and graduates within the team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4–6 years' post-admission experience in employment law practice (private practice or in-house);
  • A strong understanding of employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks;
  • Experience acting in all major courts
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills;
  • The ability to work closely and build strong relationships with clients and team members;
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
