Concrete Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused driver to deliver premixed concrete to local construction sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe transportation of materials.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in their work. You will be based at our Yandina and Caloundra plants and will have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment including Tippers, Agitators, and Mini Agitators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport Premixed Concrete: Safely transport premixed concrete to local construction sites in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain Equipment: Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Communicate with Teams: Collaborate with dispatch and site teams to ensure efficient delivery of materials and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record delivery times, quantities, and any issues encountered during transportation.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess an HR license with 2+ years' experience operating heavy vehicles.
  • White Card: Hold a valid Construction Induction (White Card) certification.
  • Fitness and Safety: Be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Have a solid understanding of CoR and road transport rules, and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Citizenship: Be an Australian citizen and available to start soon.
