We're seeking a highly skilled Research Officer to join our team in developing new immunotherapies for brain tumours.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within an interdisciplinary team and project manage a research stream focused on cutting-edge mRNA-based nanoparticle technology.

As a key member of the team, you will contribute to grant and report writing, preparing publications, training junior researchers, and presenting research findings at conferences and workshops.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be adaptable, flexible, and possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. A strong background in molecular biology, immunology, and experience in RNA-based nanotherapeutics development and preclinical testing in animal models is essential.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • PhD in a relevant scientific or medical field
  • Advanced cell biology and molecular biology skills
  • Immunology skills, including cell isolation, culture, and phenotyping
  • Experience in mRNA technology, including mRNA-based nanoparticles development and characterization
  • Pre-clinical research experience, including in vitro and in vivo studies
  • Animal model experience, particularly in brain cancer
  • Bioconjugation techniques experience
  • Live-cell imaging and analytical skills
