Business Development Agronomist

We are seeking an accomplished Business Development Agronomist to service growers across the NSW and surrounding Cooma region.

About the Role:
  • Service a diverse range of growers, leveraging strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application to deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Engage with a collaborative team to form strategic relationships with customers and farmers in this thriving agricultural region.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises through expert agronomic and technical support.
  • Provide comprehensive product sales and support services to farmers and producers in the region, ensuring timely and effective delivery of solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest plant production practices and participate in field days and farmer meetings to establish yourself as a subject matter expert in the region.
What We're Looking For:
  • Full working rights within Australia and significant experience in a similar agronomy position, preferably within a commercial environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application.
  • A proven track record of success in executing business development outcomes using specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical products.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
  • A current driver's licence is essential.
