Maintenance Role

The maintenance team is a vital component of our restaurant operations, reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager. Our primary objective is to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure the internal and external restaurant environments are clean, well-maintained, and welcoming.
  • Maintain equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure a secure working environment.
  • Clean and maintain the restaurant carpark, patio, and exterior areas, including bins, gardens, signage, floors, tables, and chairs.
  • Organize and maintain the back area of the restaurant, including the rubbish area and staff toilets.
  • Comply with safety and security standards for a safe working environment.
  • Perform ad hoc maintenance tasks as assigned by management.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Well-presented and friendly demeanor.
  • Availability to work early mornings to prepare the restaurant for trade.
  • Ability to complete tasks such as mopping, scrubbing, climbing ladders, cleaning windows, and toilets.
  • Confidence in engaging with customers, suppliers, or contractors, including handling difficult situations.
  • Able to hear and respond to various alerts and alarms.
  • Resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges.
  • Police check required (for applicants over 18 years only).
  • Valid right to work in Australia is required.
