
Senior Healthcare Administrator

We are seeking an exceptional Medical Receptionist to join our team, providing a superior level of secretarial and reception services to young people, clinical, and management staff. This role is critical in ensuring seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the central point of communication and provide medical reception duties including taking incoming calls and directing the caller to the appropriate member of staff
- Appointment scheduling and maintenance of clients
- General Office duties including opening and distribution of mail typing scanning filing and archiving
- Assist in the closing and securing of the building at the end of the day
- Typing of Medical letters to members of the clinical team
- Monitoring of Mental Health Care Plan and sessions to ensure seamless service delivery
- Liaise with Clinical Service Manager to manage MBS billing and other billing systems through Medicare and other funding streams
- Liaise with Clinical Service Manager to monitor and manage client pathways
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Medical Administration or similar qualification
- Excellent administration time management and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of the health sector with an ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds
- Proven record in working closely with and being a successful member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication interpersonal problem solving and organisational skills
- Well-developed customer service skills
- Ability to think and act calmly and deal sensitively with distressed people
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Understanding of duty of care rights to privacy and confidentiality
