Key Role: Food and Beverage Team Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team delivering exceptional service and quality food in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, including rosters, training, and team development, while maintaining high hygiene standards and championing a safe and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead front-of-house with a focus on positive team culture and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure quality food and drinks, stock control, and compliance with RSA/food safety/RCG regulations.
  • Manage daily operations, including scheduling, training, and team growth.
  • Maintain high cleanliness standards through the use of approved cleaning practices.
  • Advocate for and promote a safe, compliant work environment by adhering to WHS procedures.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Accreditation in RSA, RCG, and Food Safety (or willingness to obtain); HACCP knowledge is beneficial.
  • Confident leadership experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a good understanding of cost control and budgeting principles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, thriving in a hands-on, customer-focused environment.
  • Physical fitness and comfort with active work, including lifting, standing, cooking, cleaning, and using kitchen equipment safely.
