The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will be proficient in Expert Estimation and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality estimates on time.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, including roadworks, marine, bridge, earthworks, and intersections. They will be responsible for preparing first principles cost estimates and estimating reports, as well as dealing with sub-contractors and suppliers.
The role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare first principles cost estimates and estimating reports
- Deal with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Clarify quotations regarding compliance with specifications and relevant standards
- Prepare post-submission responses
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an estimating role
- Proficient in Expert Estimation
- Experience working for a smaller tier contractor on projects up to $30ml
- Leadership and strong communication skills
