Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Distribution Centre Operator to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of customer orders.

Your primary responsibility will be to work across all departments within the distribution centre, picking and packing customer orders accurately for dispatch. You will also be responsible for unloading and loading containers and trucks manually and using mechanical handling equipment (MHE), as well as conducting periodic stock checks.

Additionally, you will perform pre-start MHE checks, maintain housekeeping and cleaning duties, and use electronic equipment such as RF scanners. Your ability to work effectively within a team environment, following directions from Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Management, is essential to your success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in warehousing or labor roles
  • LO licence (required); additional licences are a plus
  • Knowledge of WHS standards
  • Experience with inbound/receiving processes
  • RF system knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good numerical skills
