Lead Swim Instructor Opportunity

As Lead Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality programs, providing strong leadership to your team, and driving a culture of service excellence and innovation.

You'll play a key role in planning and organising lessons, identifying opportunities for new initiatives, and ensuring that every student feels supported and motivated in their swimming journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and promote GOSwim program in line with Belgravia Leisure standards
  • Drive processes and practices to ensure the success of GOSwim program
  • Support delivery of business plan objectives and events calendar
  • Assist with incident and accident investigations as required
  • Achieve KPIs including financial performance, school participation, and retention
  • Maintain high NPS and mystery shop results in line with Belgravia Leisure standards
About You:

As a passionate advocate for swimming, you have the ability to engage and inspire people of all ages, abilities, and cultural backgrounds.

With excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset, you naturally build strong relationships and foster a positive, inclusive environment.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Swim School environment
  • Proven ability to lead and support a team
  • Strong alignment with values: integrity, excellence, courage, openness, respect, leadership, and accountability
  • Confidence to step in and deliver swim classes when required
Qualifications:
  • National Police Check
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent)
  • Current Swim Certificate - Teaching of water swimming and water safety
  • Swim extension certificates (desirable but not essential)
  • Previous Swim School Coordinator Experience
  • Strong people leadership with an ability to inspire others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Legally entitled to work in Australia
