Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement Educational Programs: Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Lead and Mentor Educators: Guide, mentor, and provide direction to other educators in the room or setting, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Communicate with Families and Colleagues: Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage Educational Resources: Oversee the use of educational resources, including software for children's documentation and communication with families.
- Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent/higher qualification as recognized by ACECQA).
- Working with Children's Check: Current and valid Working with Children's Check (or the ability to obtain one).
- First Aid Certificate: Current and valid First Aid certificate, including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
- Australian Work Rights: Current and valid Australian Work Rights.
- Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and manage educational programs, teams, and resources.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances, ensuring the best possible outcomes for children.
