Job Overview

The Job Overview is a vital role that involves supervising staff across various sites in Western Australia.

  • Establish effective communication with project managers and crew to address concerns and provide constructive feedback.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials for job sites, ensuring timely issuance of purchase orders.
  • Arrange for equipment and crane hires as required on a daily basis.
  • Negotiate variations in works with clients while maintaining a formal approach.
  • Maintain an overview of all assigned site works, including material and equipment requirements.
  • Ensure personnel are adequately trained, competent, and provided with necessary instructions for their tasks.
  • Monitor and report job progress and performance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead and instruct employees and subcontractors, delegating responsibilities as needed.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback to the Operations Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Take ownership of site works, including safety, efficiency, and staff mentoring/training.
  • Investigate and complete incident/accident reports immediately after any incidents.
Requirements
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Ability to pass Labour Assessment (LAB DAS)
  • Section 44 or 26 training (Desirable)
  • White Card
  • Driver's Licence
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficient in report writing and time management
  • Knowledge of management systems and ability to suggest improvements
