Visual Effects Artist

The primary objective of this position is to expertly integrate live-action and computer-generated elements into visually stunning visual effects shots that align with the creative vision of the client and Visual Effects Supervisor.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating the creative and technical approach for assigned shots in collaboration with the Compositing Supervisor and Visual Effects Supervisor.
- Developing a unified look for sequences and ensuring uniformity in all finished work by maintaining the overall aesthetic integrity and technical quality of the final image delivered to the client.
- Collaborating with artists from other disciplines to deliver high-quality results under intense time pressure.
- Independently providing solutions to complex technical and aesthetic problems with minimal direction.
- Bidding on comp department work and managing bids with Production to maintain efficiency.
This role requires a strong foundation in Nuke, including 2D tracking, matte extraction, and color grading. Additionally, exceptional aesthetic skills in judging photo-realism and color balance are essential. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are also necessary.
Able candidates should possess:
- Strong knowledge of Nuke software.
- Exceptional aesthetic judgment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to learn new software and techniques quickly.

- Minimum 5 years of compositing experience in a feature film or commercial production environment.
