About the RoleThe Advisory Engagement Manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end engagements, delivering quantifiable impact, and ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of projects. You will also supervise, coach, and participate in the value creation process across the team, structure problems, and define workstreams to deliver impact.
Key Responsibilities- Lead engagements and act as the key point of contact for clients, senior leaders, sponsors, and other stakeholders within Hatch.
- Develop and implement business solutions that drive sustainable results and positive impact.
- Supervise and mentor team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality work.
- Coordinate resources and own the outcome of projects, ensuring they are delivered on-time and on-budget.
- Actively manage and lead Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in an engagement.
- Ensure quality assurance and deliver work to the highest possible standard.
- 8+ years of management consulting experience.
- An undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or equivalent.
- Advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PhD) or equivalent is advantageous.
- Proven experience in mining, metals, energy, or infrastructure projects.
- Solid functional knowledge in Transaction Support.
- Experience in managing and executing large-scale operational engagements.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and the ability to distill value during projects.
- Proven client relationship management and business development skills.
- Motivating and supportive leadership skills.
- Collaborate with leading consultants and technical experts towards a better world through positive change.
