As part of our diverse team, you will be supporting individuals to live the life they choose through accommodation and community engagement.

Our overnight sleep support worker roster is designed to provide a wide range of domestic supports within high-needs customer residences. You will play a crucial role in ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed, as well as administration duties, expense, and mandatory reports.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of our customers. As a Disability Support Specialist, you will work closely with our customers to help them unleash their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering Domestic Supports: Provide a wide range of domestic supports within high-needs customer residences, including cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
  • Supporting Person-Centred Plans: Work with our customers to develop and implement person-centred plans that identify their life goals and aspirations.
  • Ensuring Positive Behaviour Support Plans: Ensure that positive behaviour support plans are followed, and any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Administration Duties: Complete administration tasks, including expense reporting, mandatory reporting, and other administrative duties as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Supporting Customers with Behavioural Support Plans: Previous experience in supporting customers with behavioural support plans is essential.
  • Manual Handling Experience: Previous experience with manual handling is also essential.
  • Certification in Disability Support: A Cert III in Disability, Individual Support or higher is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to Assist with Personal Care: A willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties is essential.
