About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Disability Employment Specialist to join our team.

This role is responsible for empowering individuals with Autism on their employment pathway to success. You will work directly with our participants, assisting them to meet their aspirations for open employment.

You will have high-level communication skills and a dedication to the rights of people with disability. Your primary focus will be on building individual capacity by coaching, capacity building and developing them on their journey to securing or maintaining employment or volunteering roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Connect with our participants via coaching, capacity building and developing them on their journey to securing/maintaining employment or volunteering roles.
  • Create and establish pathways for our individuals via schools and other NDIS funded programs.
  • Conduct formal assessments and implement employment strategies.
  • Oversee and monitor NDIS plans.
  • Coordinate job searches and job support activities with the assistance of job coaches.
  • Complete registration requirements for programs.
  • Provide reporting as required.

We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $80,000 per annum, plus access to generous salary packaging options.
