Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled maintenance professional to perform various tasks related to the operation of our plant.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.

  • Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance services to ensure continuous operation of the plant.
  • Plan regular maintenance activities and recommend improvements to work practices and fixed plant.
  • Supervise contractors onsite and ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Document maintenance activities, maintain databases and generate purchasing requests as required.
  • Perform fabrication activities in accordance with blueprints or schematic drawings, including minor welding repairs as needed, and operate metalworking equipment such as lathes, drill presses and grinders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (AUS) or National Certificate in Automotive Machining – Level 4(NZ) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with pumps, compressors, high pressure valves and flanges.
  • Hold a forklift license, EWP license and have experience working at heights, confined spaces and with heavy machinery.
  • Excellent computer literacy and ability to use software applications relevant to the role.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
