The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecology, with a focus on fauna, flora, ecological communities, and ecosystems, as well as experience in project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired:

  • Proven knowledge in fauna, flora, ecological communities, and ecosystems, with a focus on Queensland regions like the Brigalow Belt, North Queensland, and SEQ Bioregions.
  • Ability to lead project delivery, engage with clients, and mentor a high-performing team across field and office-based work.
  • Strong experience in navigating State and Commonwealth environmental approval processes and delivering strategic assessments.
  • Proficiency in tools like GIS, remote sensing, and digital solutions to enhance project efficiency and tackle client challenges.
  • Over 10 years of ecological experience, a relevant degree, and a valid Class C driver's license (4WD experience preferred).
