About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Educator to join our team at TeamKids. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and education to children in our Before and After School Care programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Service in developing and implementing enriching programs for children, aligned with our values of fun, innovative, involved, remarkable, and genuine.
  • Support the creation and implementation of engaging experiences for children, including activities, events, and excursions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the school community, attending events and assemblies as required.
  • Co-manage or coordinate the school holiday program, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for children.
  • Service hours: before school care, 6:30 am - 9:00 am & after school care 2:50 pm - 6:30 pm plus 6 hours admin per week.
Requirements
  • You're passionate about working with children, have a strong educational background, and excellent communication skills.
  • You're a team player with a positive attitude, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
  • Ideally, you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but we can provide training and support for the right candidate.
  • You're qualified or studying towards an ACECQA recognised qualification in Victoria, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  • You're looking for stable, permanent part-time hours - up to 25 hours per week.
