Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Carer to provide high-quality care and support to our residents in a part-time capacity.

This role involves working 53.35 hours per fortnight, with a roster that includes Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts.

As a Carer, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and promoting the wellbeing of our residents.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and have previous experience in administering medications.

In addition, you will require a Certificate III in Aged Care or relevant experience within the Aged Care industry, as well as a valid Police Clearance and NDIS Screen Check.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care Delivery: Provide individualised care to residents, supporting their physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing.
  • Care Planning: Assist with residents' care needs in line with their care plan.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to promote a harmonious working environment.
  • Advocacy: Support and advocate the rights of older people.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care: Or relevant experience within the Aged Care industry.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills and ability to develop understanding relationships with residents.
  • Medication Administration: Previous experience administering medications.
  • Certifications: Valid Police Clearance (no older than 6 months) and NDIS Screen Check.
