
Ecology Survey Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Botanist to lead our ecology surveys and projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes while working in diverse environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and conducting field-based ecology surveys, managing ecological projects, and analyzing data to inform impact assessments and mitigation strategies.
- This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with internal clients, delivering multi-disciplinary tenders and high-quality project deliverables.
To excel in this position, you will need:
- A degree in environmental science, ecology, biology or a related field, complemented by 7-10+ years of experience in botanical surveys and ecological consulting.
- Excellent field skills and experience conducting surveys in various environments, including remote and metropolitan areas.
- Strong technical reporting skills, with proficiency in GIS desktop and data collection packages (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS and Fieldmaps).
- A valid WA driving license and ability to work outdoors on extended field programs.
- An understanding of Commonwealth and State environmental legislation, as well as relevant EPA technical guides and BC Act requirements.
