We are seeking a skilled Environmental Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Scientist, you will play a crucial role in helping industries meet their environmental responsibilities while protecting the natural environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest or experience in environmental approvals, contaminated land, or ecological fieldwork with 1+ years relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting environmental impact assessments and obtaining necessary permits
- Investigating and remediating contaminated land sites
- Monitoring hydrology, hydrogeology, and water quality
- Surveying biodiversity and conducting ecological assessments
- Developing and implementing environmental management plans
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused outcomes in diverse and remote environments across the NT and beyond.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Be able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively with team members
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be proactive, curious to learn, and committed to delivering quality work
