Water Treatment Expertise

We are seeking a dedicated Water Treatment Professional to join our team in New South Wales, Australia.

The Opportunity:

  • You'll work across six different water treatment plants, ensuring the safe and efficient supply of drinking water to over 500,000 people across the region.
  • It's hands-on technical work with good equipment and proper training.
  • You'll be part of our operations team, including some on-call and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate drinking water treatment plants safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor water quality parameters.
  • Collect water samples and conduct laboratory analysis.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Drinking Water Guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records.
  • Respond to water quality incidents following established protocol.
  • Identify and respond to treatment process control issues (training provided).

Requirements:

  • Experience in water treatment operations.
  • SCADA system and process control experience or strong aptitude for learning technical systems.
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Chemical handling and safety knowledge.
  • Willingness to obtain Cert 3 in water industry.
