About the Role:

  • As a skilled Culinary Artist, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality, plant-based dishes under the direction of our experienced Head Chef.
  • You will work closely with the Head Chef to plan and execute menus that showcase seasonal and sustainable ingredients, maintaining our commitment to excellence in food.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in daily kitchen preparation, including cleaning, cutting, and marinating food, as well as following prep lists and ensuring the kitchen is ready for service.
  • As a member of our kitchen team, you will work collaboratively with other staff to deliver timely, high-quality service and maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
  • We are seeking a creative and motivated individual who is passionate about food, innovation, and continuous learning, with a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or higher-level qualification in cookery or a related field.
  • A strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen practices, understanding of stock rotation, food handling, and kitchen operations, excellent teamwork and communication skills, are essential requirements for this position.
