ASC is seeking an Information Security Coordinator to join the team. Reporting to the Classified Information Security Lead, you will deliver effective Information Security services and ensure compliance with data management requirements.

About the Opportunity

This role requires a collaborative individual who can coordinate information security processes across various sites and systems. You will work closely with Defence Security Division, NSSG Security Officer Collins Submarine Program, ASIO and other external agencies as needed.

Responsibilities

As an Information Security Coordinator, your key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the effective operation of information security processes under ASC's remit.
  • Coordinating the scanning and digitisation of historical information.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external agencies on information security matters.

You will be responsible for managing information security risks and ensuring that all relevant policies and procedures are implemented and maintained.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A qualification in security and/or risk management or a related field.
  • Experience in information management/archiving and technical data handling.
  • Familiarity with DSPF/ISM/PSPF and other relevant policies.
  • An understanding of digital media sanitisation and handling requirements.
  • High-level competency in Microsoft Office suite and data entry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an NV1 Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
