Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity and Governance professional to join our team. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing information security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, and participating in information security audits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing information security policies and procedures to safeguard our assets and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards by conducting regular risk assessments and recommending business improvements.
  • Participating in information security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Designing, implementing, and monitoring security controls to protect our computer networks and cloud systems from cyber threats.
  • Establishing governance processes to ensure that our security controls are effective and efficient.
  • Building relationships with our Cyber Security partners to stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and best practices.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or 3-5 years' experience in an IT Governance and/or compliance role.
  • ITIL - IT Service Management certification to demonstrate your understanding of service management principles and practices.
  • COBIT5, NIST, or industry-related framework certification to show your knowledge of governance and risk management frameworks.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification to prove your expertise in security concepts and technologies.
