About This Role:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and be able to analyze financial data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including AASB/IFRS.
  • Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and CPA/CA qualification or working towards it.
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in financial or management accounting.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of AASB/IFRS, excellent analytical and communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
