Financial Accounting Opportunity

This challenging role demands a strong technical accounting skillset and exceptional communication abilities to ensure success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts, including board papers and ASX compliant periodic financial reports.
  • Provide technical accounting support by analyzing accounting data as required.
  • Assist in preparing annual and interim financial reports in compliance with Accounting Standards and ASX reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sustainability team to provide financial data for sustainability reporting and ensure consistency between sustainability disclosures and financial statements.
  • Support coordination of the audit process and act as a point of contact with auditors.
Requirements:
  • CA/CPA qualification with a degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in financial reporting and technical accounting, preferably in an ASX-listed company, Big 4, or mid-tier accounting firm auditing ASX-listed companies.
  • Experience in preparing management reporting, board papers, and statutory ASX quarterly, half-year, and full-year reporting.
  • Exposure to complex technical accounting, such as impairments, share-based payments, rehabilitation provisions, and leases.

This is a permanent full-time role based at our West Perth office, near the City West Train station, with a working from home option of one day per week.
