Key Water Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Water Infrastructure Specialist to work on designing and developing water and wastewater Civil infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team of water sector specialists who share a passion for delivering technically excellent projects that contribute to healthy communities and sustainable outcomes throughout urban and regional Australia.

This role involves expertise in various aspects of civil engineering including project development, detailed design, analysis, construction/commissioning phase support, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems. Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience in scoping and developing engineering work packages, including time-based estimates for deliverables.

In this position, you will be responsible for technical skills such as water and wastewater treatment process optimization, hydraulic modelling, and pipe network analysis, with a focus on ensuring the effective operation of water facilities. To excel in this role, you should possess strong communication and organisational skills, enabling you to effectively interact with stakeholders and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

As a Key Water Infrastructure Specialist, you will be involved in various activities including feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed design, and commissioning of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will also be expected to troubleshoot issues related to these projects and provide recommendations for improvement.

About You
  • You will be a Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • You will have gained a strong understanding of water/wastewater industry standards and best practices.
  • You will possess highly organised technical and communication skills.
