About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a Civil Designer Trainee to join our team, where you will work alongside experienced professionals and gain invaluable experience in civil design services.

You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our Capital Works Program, combining your studies with work experience to build a solid foundation for your career.

As a Civil Design Trainee, you will have access to a wide range of teams across our organisation, giving you opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Civil Design Trainee will include:

  • Developing skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and completion of a recognised tertiary course in Civil Design;
  • Providing civil design advice to internal and external stakeholders, under the guidance of our Team Leader and Senior Civil Designer;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A commitment to completing a Diploma of Civil Construction Design;
  • An understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) principles;
  • Access to reliable transport for attendance at work and external training providers;
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
