We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to join our Professional Services team. This individual must be a hands-on expert with experience deploying cloud products and services for customers in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Become a technical authority on Snowflake, including best practices for deployment and knowledge transfer to customers.
  2. Guide customers through the process of migrating to Snowflake, developing methodologies to improve migration efficiency.
  3. Work closely with customers to demonstrate implementation best practices on Snowflake technology, ensuring seamless integration and customer success.
  4. Maintain deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, effectively positioning Snowflake as a leading solution.
  5. Collaborate with System Integrator consultants at a technical level to successfully position and deploy Snowflake in customer environments.
  6. Provide guidance on resolving customer-specific technical challenges, driving successful outcomes.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 10 years of experience working with customers in pre-sales or post-sales technical roles.
  2. Experience migrating from one data platform to another, addressing unique challenges associated with platform transitions.
  3. University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  4. Outstanding presentation skills, comfortable presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
  5. Comprehensive understanding of the complete data analytics stack, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools.
  6. Strong database, data warehouse, and data processing skills.
  7. Extensive expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
  8. Experience selling data and/or analytics software to enterprise customers, with a proven track record of success.
  9. Familiarity with large-scale database technology and software development experience with C/C++ or Java.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with non-relational platforms and tools for large-scale data processing.
  2. Familiarity with common BI and data exploration tools.
  3. Experience implementing ETL pipelines using custom and packaged tools.
  4. Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Kinesis, Elastic MapReduce, Data pipeline.
  5. Experience selling enterprise SaaS software.
