Senior Financial Professional

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Financial Professional to play a key role in driving our organization's next phase of growth.

This is a critical opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to contribute their expertise and experience in financial planning, management, and analysis. As a senior member of our team, you will have the resources and support necessary to succeed in your role and make a significant impact on our organization's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our partners and team members to ensure timely completion of client work, ensuring high-quality results and exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with our partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, utilizing your expertise in financial regulations and compliance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of staff training programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Lead and review the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and self-managed superannuation funds.
  • Oversee the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG for various companies and trusts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients, providing expert advice and guidance as needed.
About You:
  • 4+ years of experience in a chartered accounting practice or similar environment.
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a focus on financial analysis and planning.
  • Expertise in accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, MYOB, and Xero, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
